Zoom Media partner demo’s at IBC 2019

IBC 2019 is right around the corner and we can’t wait! Last week Zoom Media speech recognition was integrated into various platforms from new partners. These integrations can be found at their respective booths, demonstrating the added value of speech to text to their products. Let me walk you through the various demo’s and where to find them during the world’s biggest media, entertainment and technology conference in RAI Amsterdam.

Text-based audio editing

Our partner Omniplayer has integrated speech to text to ease the workflow of radio editing. By turning all content into text in real-time, editors can quickly search for the bits they want to use, select them and paste them together, fine-tune a bit and their work is ready for broadcast. A great timesaver! Omniplayer will start off using Zoom Media’s Dutch language model with other language models to follow. You can find Omniplayer at stand 8.D40 to check their Zoom Media integration live.

Zoom Media available on Mimir

The Norwegian start-up Mjoll aims to revolutionize workflows with their cloud production asset management system Mimir. It helps broadcasters with automating metadata logging, automatic transcripts, automatic objects and face detection, translation services, smart search features and more. Mjoll offers various API’s from IBM, Google, our partner Microsoft and has now added Zoom Media speech to text to the mix. At their booth 8.C10, you can check out the demo.

Efficient subtitle preparation

Over the last 30 years, FAB has been developing Teletext and subtitling systems for the broadcasting industry. Amongst companies such as Google and Microsoft, Zoom Media speech recognition has now been added to the offering of FAB as well. Clients can choose Zoom Media live subtitling and/or transcription using FAB subtitler. Thanks to this addition subtitle preparation can take up to 70% less time since all words are already correctly timestamped. Visit FAB at booth 2.C48 to learn more about Zoom Media live speech recognition and how it can help you with making your subtitling workflow more efficient.
