This month, Zoom Media travelled to Microsoft HQ in Redmond to take the next step in making its state-of-the-art Speech Recognition models available for Microsoft customers.
Microsoft is preparing to launch a new and improved version of its Azure Marketplace and has chosen Zoom Media to join the early adopter program. By joining this early adopter program, Zoom Media will be one of the first Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) to go live in the new Marketplace (Azure Marketplace and AppSource). If all goes as planned, Microsoft clients can be easily connected to our Speech Recognition API by May 2019 enabling them to purchase our solution directly through Microsoft.
The workshop in Redmond handled all technical and business implications of the new Azure Marketplace. Among other things we discussed the Marketplace Roadmap and how to integrate our API. The two day workshop provided us with all necessary info to enable Zoom Media to have an initial offer go live by mid April 2019 which – after sufficient testing – will become generally available by the beginning of May.
Thanks to the new Azure Marketplace, Microsoft customers will not only be able to find us, but connect with us and purchase our solution directly through the Azure Marketplace as well. This means customers no longer need to discuss pricing and contracts separately with Zoom Media. The Zoom Media Speech Recognition API basically becomes generally available to all Microsoft clients when browsing for features they want to use for their specific use case.
