Recently Zoom Media deployed new speech to text language models for the Nordics. Today we offer speech to text solutions for Danish, Swedish and Norwegian with Finnish on the way! An interesting new market that we’ve opened up for ourselves together with our partner Microsoft.
We’ve already showcased our Nordic languages to clients and partners at IBC this year, but now it’s time to physically move to the Nordics. From the 1st – 3rd of October Zoom Media will be in Copenhagen to attend the 50th annual World Media Intelligence Congress FIBEP. Various companies from all over the world that work with broadcast content will attend. And what better place to showcase your Nordic speech to text languages than at a congress like that in the heart of Copenhagen?
Our speech to text models are already being used by Dutch broadcasters to index their content, turning all spoken words into text in order to make the content more searchable. Exactly the same can now be done with Nordic content.
We’ve already got some interesting talks lined up with companies that actually monitor broadcast content for their clients. They search through all radio and television content for news that is relevant to their customers. To this day this is a largely manual operation. Using speech to text these companies can now make a transition to automation. By searching through all the content using speech to text they can find relevant hits in a completely automated fashion and in real-time, saving time and manual resources.
We’re very much looking forward to visiting Copenhagen next week. If you would like to schedule a meeting, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, see you there!
